RETURN POLICY

You may return an item for an exchange or refund of the merchandise total within 30 days of delivery.  If your item arrived damaged or defective, we are happy to arrange for a prompt replacement.  Return credits are issued within 72 business hours once the item is received and inspected. Please note, if you return an item the shipping costs will be deducted from your total refund amount unless the return meets one of the following verified reasons:

-Received the wrong product

-Item was damaged in transit

-Item is defective. (Item will be inspected upon return.  If no fault found then shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund).

      Once your return is received and inspected, we will send an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

      If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. A partial refund will be applied if the item has missing parts.  

      To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.  Please do not assemble or modify the product in any way. The few exceptions that cannot be returned include:

      -Clearance Items

      -Downloadable Software products

      -Gift cards

      -Personalized Items

      An order cancellation can be made within 24 hours of purchase if your order has not been prepared for shipment. If you wish to cancel your order please email customer support at jen@thesummerhouseshop.com  Order cancellation notices made after 24 hours or after shipment preparations will be voided and must follow the returns policy.

      Any refused item requiring LTL scheduled delivery such as large furniture that was not damaged in transit or as a result of an inaccurate item will be assessed a charge at the total cost of return delivery back to The Summerhouse's warehouses and 3rd party affiliates, plus a 15% restocking fee.
